Arthur Moniz has been painting for over twenty-five years. He was born and educated in the United States where he attended Massachusetts College of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston MA.

Mr. Moniz paints in all media oil, acrylics, egg-tempera and watercolor. His paintings are highly detailed with a feeling of quiet calm to them. Recently, he has developed a style of painting he calls graphite watercolors. These are extremely meticulous pencil renderings over which are added transparent watercolor washes.
